Jambo!
Well here we are in Africa. We arrived last night at about 8.30 pm, our journey was good and we managed to sleep on the plane!
We were met by Joshua and his wife Beatrice who surprized us by taking us not to a hotel as we had expected but to their own home. It was a very bumpy ride as there are no roads in the part of town where they live Usa River but we were made very welcome. When we arrived there was a meal of fish (from lake Victoria) rice and fried cabbage, which we enjoyed.

This morning we have been shown around their garden which contains banana, orange, advocado and mango trees.

Our journey has changed a little bit, we are going to be travelling to Niarobi on Wednesday instead of Tuesday and not across the Serengetti as the bus journey would be too long and bumpy as there are no tarmac roads there, and then we will travel on to Mosuma.

We are hoping to look around Arusha now.
Love Mrs Revill and Mrs Ward x
