The next modular to be lit on the High Street is Assembly Square. Unlike any other modular, this build does not have a 32x32 block footprint, but instead has a 48x32 footprint. It was released to celebrate 10 years of the modular building range, and designed to be a little bit special.
With nine of the modulars (and an inverted corner MOC) now lit, the High Street requires a panorama image and looks like this...
(Several modulars have been added on the second surface to the left - the Police Station, Grand Emporium and Corner Garage are now on the list of modulars to be powered in future months)
On the side of the Police Station modular there is a large billboard. This cannot be seen on the street due to its position, so I took the decision to remove it and place it on the corner MOC, adding two crystal lights above it to illuminate it.
The next modular build to be lit in the Downtown Diner.
This is a three storey build, with a diner on the ground floor, a gym on the second floor and a recording studio at the top of the building.
With ten of the modulars (and an inverted corner MOC) lit, the High Street requires a panorama image and looks like this...
(Note: The Pet Shop Store has been moved to the side of the Grand Emporium)
The Palace Cinema modular was powered in January, but I was never happy with the canopy and 'Palace' sign area of the build. I really wanted to include lights on the 'Palace' sign, and have them chase like they would on a real old fashioned cinema building.
A little extra addition to the street using a 16x32 baseplate that sits between two modulars. The modular park contains a statue of the town founder, a beehive, numerous plants and a small tree. A spotlight lights the statue in the evenings.
The next modular to be lit on the High Street is the Book Shop. This is a narrow build, as it was sold with the Book Shop House, but could be separated.
With eleven of the modulars (and an inverted corner MOC) lit, the High Street requires a panorama image and looks like this...
(The Corner Garage has been moved and is now sitting in the corner behind the modular inverted corner piece.)
The next modular build to be lit in the street is the Police Station.
This is a three storey build, with three separate buildings combined within the build. The ground floor contains the entrance to a large police station, with a donut store to one side and a newsstand to the right. The first floor contains police offices and a small flat whilst the top floor contains the interview rooms.
