Ellie has been using the Brushes app on the iPad to create her own artwork from an area of Epic Citadel.
A hot summers day in Epic Citadel and an old woman called Abigail began to walk to the waterfall. The reason for her walk was simply to do her washing.
She began to unload her full washing bag then took a bar of dry soap out of her apron pocket. She picked up a large stone only to find it was dirty, so she decided to wash it in the river. Soon after that she started placing her clothes in the swirling river below the waterfall.
She started rubbing the clothes against the rock she had earlier washed. She stopped. Her hands started bleeding as they were in the cold water. They felt rough and sore. She wished she didn't have to clean clothes all the time, but this was the only thing that she could do.
She rubbed her hands against the apron, dunked them back into the river and carried on with her washing.
