As you enter the village you see Bectan Sands church. As you pass the church you see Shepherds Wood, which is on the left. Then turn right going Northwest to Bectans Sands pond carry on and you will see a street of shops. Then go on down the street and to your left opposite Post Office is the Dresden Arms the village pub.
Outside the pub there is a garden and it has a flowerbed, all the flowers in the garden are all very beautiful and smell nice. Next to it there is a slide with a climbing frame, and they have a swing. There is a pond at the end of the garden, it has fish in it and it has ducks swimming on it.
There is a dog kennel next to the kitchen. The dog kennel has a brown roof, over the hole there is a plaque and it says Jasper. Around the front of the pub there is a board and it says The Dresden Arms and has a painting of a Dresden china jug. There are two flower pots with some daffodils in them, there are some hanging baskets and some roses around the door. There are two lanterns hanging from the top of the door. The Dresden Arms has an old fashion door with an old fashion door handle.
Inside the pub Inside the pub, the tables and the bar are made out of wood and the wallpaper is the colour of chestnuts and there is a pool table. There is a dartboard in the main room and a fairly big lounge with nice soft cushions. On the bar there is lots of drinks and on one side there are stools. There is a jukebox in the lounge with mainly good music. The bar sells nuts and crisps.
The People in the Pub The people in the pub are called the Norton's. The Dad is Matthew (he is the Landlord), he is 31 years old with brown hair and hazel eyes the colour of chestnut trees, he is 1 metre 80 cm tall. He has a wife called Elaine, she is 29 years old with blonde hair and sky blue eyes that glisten in the light, she is 1 metre 60 cm. They have got a child called Courtney who is 8 years old with blonde hair that takes after her Mum and hazel eyes that take after her Dad, she is 1 Metre 37cm.
They've got a dog, whose name is Jasper; he's got a blue collar that has got the Norton's phone number on. He's a spaniel with staring blue eyes and silky soft ears, he has brown fur, which you can brush easily, the dog is a guard dog.
The Norton's are a very happy, thoughtful and friendly family.
