Today I've been out on a trip with my class, and the other year 3/4 classes in school. Now there is nothing special in that. Schools run trips all the time. We run visits frequently. So, why am I writing about it?

I've been working with a developer to look at the problem of streaming video to the iPads within schools, and over the weekend I was sent a file containing the new version of the operating system for the iPads - iOS4.2.

I'm starting to believe that we are never going to complete the kitchen with the plans we had for it. The reason for this is simple, we foolishly - nay, stupidly - decided to go to Currys to get some items for it.

I've always liked Formula1. Ever since I was a young lad and I was given a Formula1 racing car model and posters of the Black and Gold JPS cars (family members worked at the JPS factory and so were able to get the merchandise).

Do you remember that catch phrase for educational ICT not long ago that was "Harnessing Technology"? It was used by Becta frequently, it was quoted by politicians regularly. There was even a budget allocation named after it!
