At school we've recently set up a "Parents Champions" group. It's something new that the Deputy has been heavily involved in, and the best way to describe it is as "a school council for parents" (a pupils description). The Parents Champions group had three initial ideas:
I've been thinking recently about file access for pupils when they work at home / school. As we never signed up to an "off the shelf" learning platform solution this has been an area that has always been something I know has needed sorting out.
I've been working with several classes for the past few weeks, looking at how computer games and systems have evolved over the past 30 years. I showed my class my very own Binatone TV games system - from 1976 - and we even plugged it in and had a quick play on the tennis game.
