On a Friday in school, we have a 'creative' afternoon. Some children have Ukulele lessons, guitar lessons or recorder lessons. We also have our singing practice on a Friday afternoon, a music lesson and in lower school we also have a chance to do some research of a topic.

The more we use iPads in school, the more I realise just what this small device is actually capable of. Over the past week my class have been working together on a short ICT related project to create a movie. My initial plans involved using the iPad for just one part of the story, but it quickly evolved into becoming the ONLY device used for the whole tale.

I added a new app to the growing collection of school apps on our iPads recently. Storypatch, from Haywoodsoft, was available to download for free for a short time, so I couldn't miss out on an opportunity like that!

A while ago I posted that we were finding it difficult to export work from the iPads in school. It was a problem that occured whenever a pupil chose the 'export via email' option. Although we had set up each and every iPad with an email address, messages just would not send.
