What a donkey! A flight from Poland to East Midlands airport made the news when a passenger on board a Ryanair flight bought a scratchcard ticket, and found out they had won €10,000 on it.
After unsuccessfully demanding their winnings from the cabin crew instantly, the plonker then proceeded to eat the winning ticket! As the lottery company states within its rules that all winning tickets must be verified, there is now no chance at all of the €10,000 being paid out.
Instead, the winning amount will be going to a charity.
