What a donkey! A flight from Poland to East Midlands airport made the news when a passenger on board a Ryanair flight bought a scratchcard ticket, and found out they had won €10,000 on it.

Where's the App gone?

Earlier today I went into iTunes and headed for the App store. I had a reason for this, I wanted to check whether the school app had been updated. It's listed on the Appmakr website as "In review by Apple", so I gathered it was close to either going live (hopefully) or being rejected (hopefully not!).

Thoughts on my Mac

So, I've had my MacbookPro for a whole week, and I'm kind of used to it now. How does it compare to using a windows laptop?

A self healing car

I think I may have inadvertently bought the worlds first self healing car. Really, I mean it. I'm starting to wonder due to two episodes that have happened.

iPhone apps and RSS feeds

Recently, as I have mentioned in this post, I've created an iPhone app for the school. It's had it's problems though (read the highlighted post) that have been driving me mad. 

Digital / Analogue Vehicle Mashups

Our year 5 and 6 pupils are currently working through a DT project about designing and making a model vehicle. Previously, they have created a chasis from balsa wood, straws and wooden wheels, and decorated the vehicle "as is". This year though, the staff have been creative, and decide to create a design using a digital designing process along with the analogue building process.

The Unsung Hero

I'm really fortunate that the school I work in is kitted out with so much good ICT hardware that is used by every class on a daily basis.

Interactive Resources Online

Today I introduced my maths group to a new online resource that the school has purchased to help with their learning. It's the online version of Interactive resources maths CDs (the primary games / maths packs and Teaching.... series).
