Last week I was keeping an eye on twitter whilst 2Simple had their advisors day, and following their hashtag of #2simple to see what was being discussed, and what new products they revealed.
There were a flurry of tweets when a new product (to be launched at the BETT show in January) was revealed with people cryptically explaining what they were seeing;
- The new product looks like an animation/slideshow/ebook/2diy mashup
- great stuff in new 2Simple product. Multimedia story creation. Effective and easy!
- non-linear animated books too! Interactive stories that need you to complete actions before moving forward!
- Automatic lypsyncing of faces you draw yourself! Just record your message and hey presto!
- Max demoing augmented reality within new 2simple thingy - bring printed out stories to life. MAD but amazingly brilliant!
Now, with tweets like this I wanted to find out more, but I there was nothing I could do, until this morning when 2Simple posted a video showing just some of what this new title will be able to do;
Only problem is - it has no name yet, (hence the title 2TBA). Can you think of a suitable name for this new title? There's an Etherpad open where you can add your suggestions and comment on others ideas too.
Update (16/12/09): The product now has a name. It will be called "2Create A SuperStory"
Keep an eye out on this site in January. I intend to return from BETT with a copy to investigate in detail. From what I have seen so far, this could be amazing.
