...then why can't a school website too? What am I talking about? The banner along the top of the school website.
Over the past week, it's had a subtle change to it; the letter P at the start of the banner was replaced with the image of a poppy and stalk as a reference to Remembrance Day on November 11th.
I've changed the banner again today, and now the school logo has a (less than subtle) bandana across it, and a yellow bear is standing waving behind the school name. This time, it's all for Children in Need - a BBC annual fundraising event to help disadvantaged children across the UK.
There'll be another change following Children in Need day (November 20th) back to the original banner, before a Christmas themed banner appears on December 1st.
I am now thinking about what other events during the year I could manage to put into the school banner. Easter? World Cup? Bonfire Night? What other events would work well in the school banner?
