It's now half term now, and I did set myself targets for recovery that were to be reached by the half term. The main target was to be returning to work after the break and, as I said in a previous post, I will be starting a phased return when the half term break is over.

Ever since I was sent to the General Electric Augmented Reality website a while back, and saw for myself what can be achieved with a small printed out square and a webcam, I have been fascinated by Augmented Reality. I've been wondering just how this technology could be used in the classroom.

The news is good. I've been to the cardiologist who ECG'd me, then ultrasounded my heart. Apparently the surgeons did a good job patching me up, and I'm making "good progress". Yesterday I went to see the occupational health department and they've given me the all clear to return to work.

Today I have learnt two very important lessons. Lessons that I will not be forgetting in a hurry.
As I have previously mentioned, I am incapacitated at the moment. I'm off work, i can't walk far, I can't drive anywhere, and I can't do a thing it feels like!

Here is a beautiful way of tracking a keyword within twitter. VisibleTweets displays all tweets containing your chosen search term (for an event you could search for a hashtag phrase) and moves from one tweet to another in a visibly superb manner.
